A “balanced” approach so our kids can thrive academically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Quick action when it matters.
When the COVID-19 pandemic first hit in March 2020, our students were receiving remote instruction just one week after school closed.
While we recognize that there are circumstances where remote learning is necessary, we are convinced that it is best for all involved (students, teachers, and parents) when we have school in-person 5 days per week. Thankfully, God has allowed us to offer in-person since fall 2020!
Safely in-person.
In preparation for this school year, our faculty and Board of Christian Education balanced the MDHHS and CDC recommendations with our desire to make things feel more “normal” for our students and parents. This balanced approach created the safety protocols in the Preparedness Plan below. While we cannot fully eliminate risk, we believe these safeguards have helped us to mitigate and greatly reduce the risk.
We are happy to report that we have been in-person since August 19, 2020…with very little disruption.
Improving every day.
Since the safety of our St. Paul’s family and the community around us is of utmost importance, we are in regular contact with the Wayne County Health Department, and we make adjustments to our safety protocols throughout the year. Our families have exercised an abundance of caution and been terrific partners in our mission to provide in-person education.

Prepared for more than COVID.
While we have not faced emergencies in recent history, our school conducts drills for fire, tornado, and violent intruder throughout the year. Teachers are all certified in First Aid/CPR, and staff are prepared for many other emergency situations. CLICK HERE for recently conducted drills..
